When I first heard the name of the cafe, I was like, “Neighborhood park? What cafe is the park?”. Cafe Gleen Park is said to be a trade name that has a pronunciation similar to that of a neighborhood and is derived from the Scandinavian dialect GLEEN which means sunlight reflected through clouds.
The interior was structured like a forest or botanical garden to match the main theme of “Have you been on a picnic at a cafe?”
It was a fairly full-fledged botanical garden cafe where there were various seats such as a low wooden bench, swing, beanbag, and camping zone, and even carp lived in a small pond that flowed from the entrance to the entire first floor.
The cafe had first and second floors, and there was a counter where I could order bread desserts and drinks at the entrance of the first floor.
I arrived around lunch on Sunday, it was such a popular cafe that there were no seats and bread.
The cafe’s inside was like a walkway to match the concept, so strollers could not enter, and in the case of the second floor, the stairs were long and steep than expected, but there were so many family-level guests and guests with children.
The cafe consists of two buildings, but neither building run as a cafe.
It consists of two places where one runs a cafe and the other runs for a coffee roasting.
Parking is available in both places, so it is suitable for driving around Gimpo and visiting.
It was a green and pleasant place everywhere.
