What comes to your mind when you think of traditional Korean food? When I think of traditional food, gukbap comes to my mind first. It tastes good, there are many kinds, and it’s also cost-effective, so wouldn’t this be three birds with one stone?

Do you know when we started to eat Korean gukbap? It is known that the gukbap culture was established in the late Joseon Dynasty when commerce and industry developed. With the development of commerce, taverns were created between villages, and the food that was mainly sold was gukbap. Since gukbap has been known for a long time, it may be natural that gukbap comes to mind first.

The business hours of Uttugi are from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and the holidays are every Sunday and the second and fourth Saturdays.

The signature menu is beef gukbap, and you can decide whether to add seonji or not.

It also sells a variety of Korean alcoholic beverages that goes well with the menu.

It looked neat overall, and it felt more like a traditional table setting by using brass bowls, spoons, and chopsticks.
