Today, we are going to look at Dior Seongsu, a luxury goods experience space located in Seongsu, the coolest town in Korea.
‘Dior Seongsu’ is the second boutique in Korea after Cheongdam-dong and it is a place where you can experience Dior.
It said this was the first time that the house brand settled down on such a huge site in Seongsu-dong, which was once crowded with factories. Designer Christian Dior said, “Dior Seongsu” is based on the concept of 30 Montaigne in Paris, France, where he started the fashion house. It wasn’t just my personal feeling that I was reminded of France throughout looking at the building.
It said the garden in front of the building expressed the Grandville mansion where Dior spent his childhood and the rose, and it embodied Dior’s garden with eternal beauty, so if you visit here, it would be good to take a look around the garden.
Since it was a hot place, there was a lot of waiting, and you have to make a reservation on weekdays to visit, so please refer to it before visiting.
The day I visited was the weekend, so 27 teams were waiting in front of me thus I could only see the entrance of the building. It became a more sentimental place because I couldn’t enter it.
By the way, Dior Seongsu was the place where I could hear the sound of camera shutters as if I were on the red carpet even if I was nearby, so you may find it fun to see people who have come to see the tourist attractions(?).
