Hello! I’m Gongdeuri who is traveling looking for good restaurants :) Recently, it has often rained like a waterfall as if there was a hole in the sky. On a day like this, I think of jeon and makgeolli! Let me introduce you to the famous jeon restaurant that has been running in Hongdae for 20 years.
Chamsaebangasgan Hongdae
129-1, Eoulmadang-ro, Mapo-gu, Seoul
Chamsaebangasgan is a chain restaurant, and the Hongdae branch is about 180m from Exit 8 of Hongik University Station. Here is business hours. 16:00 to 03:00 every day The first floor is wide and the second floor is also wide, so there are so many seats, so I think it’s worth waiting even if there’s a wait! The gap between the tables is not wide, but it is always crowded and friendly.
There are many kinds of jeon and Braised Spicy Chicken and various kinds of soup and stew. And this place is famous for its delicious braised spicy chicken! There are also various kinds of makgeolli, and as the menu is highlighted in red, the Neurinmaeul makgeolli and Golmok makgeolli are said to be the best! I have no experience of tasting Golmok makgeolli, but the Neurinmaeul makgeolli is a little heavy and sweet. If you are interested in makgeolli, please try it at least once! I ordered assorted jeon. There are red pepper jeons, skewers, konjac jeons, zucchini jeons, perilla leaf jeons, and Korean-style meatballs. But ironically, it is jeon restaurant, but braised spicy chicken is more delicious than jeon! I recommend it.
