Bar selling the freshest salmon and yukhoe in Hapjeong

Hello! I’m Gongdeuri who is traveling to look for good restaurants :) The restaurant I’m going to introduce today is Izakaya Bar! It’s not a common Japanese-style izakaya bar-like interior, so it’s so neat and atmospheric that even people often come to have blind dates! Norwegian salmon caught on the day and fresh yukhoe that hasn’t been frozen for a moment!

Wookyu is about 241m away from Hapjeong Station Exit 5. It is located in the alley of Hapjeong Solnae-gil and the following is the business hour. Monday – Friday from 17:00 to 02:00 Saturday – Sunday from 16:00 to 02:00 Since it’s a famous restaurant in Hapjeong, there can be a waiting on Friday and Saturday! The staff are very kind and they tell me how to eat it every time I go 🙂

Famous menus include ‘Dawn Salmon’ and ‘Yuza Honey Yukhoe’. In addition, there are various sets of meat sashimi, fish cake soup, fish roe soup, karaage, croquette, and grilled salmon ribs. Salmon is served very fresh and plentiful, and yukhoe came with citron sauce on top in jelly form and also came with black caviar. The combination of citron and salmon was surprisingly good! If you drink CHUNGHA with them, you will bcome e so happy 🙂

I enjoy a drink with my friends in the evening so I always look for a quiet and atmospheric place, and then I became to enjoy going to this place! If you’re on a date in Hapjeong or looking for a bar with a nice atmosphere, I recommend you to go ‘Wookyu’ here 🙂
