Hello! I’m Gongdeuri, who travels to look for good restaurants. :) The famous restaurant I’d like to introduce today is the Ssalguksu (rice noodle) restaurant! It’s not Vietnamese rice noodles, but spinach rice noodles! I would tell you by quoting the president’s introduction. “Unlike ordinary Jeju meat noodles, Kim’s Noodle specializes in ‘Clear Meat Noodles.’ We mix seafood and chicken broth with pork broth, so you can have light broth which is different from thick meat noodles. It is characterized by using rice noodles instead of jungmyeon (noodles made of flour) and putting thinly sliced meat on top of it, making it clean and easy to digest overall.”

Kim’s Noodle

28-7, Dongmak-ro 3-gil, Mapo-gu, Seoul, first floor

Kim’s Noodle is located where you can get out of Hapjeong Station Exit 5 or 3, and walk about 300m. This is a good restaurant that was on the air as the 2TV Live Info Show 1430th episode of ‘Youth era’ which introduced Cheongdon Yukmyeon, the Morning Wide 7417th episode of ‘Myeon Detective’ which introduced Hong noodles and Cheong noodles, and the 1840th episode of MBC Live Tonight which told about the secret of the jackpot.

The main noodles are Hongdonyukmyeon and Cheongdonyukmyeon, and Hongjikhwa Usapgyeopsal Rice Noodles and Cheongjikhwa Usapgyeopsal Rice Noodles are also sold. There is also a set menu that includes side menus, so it would be good to eat in a more good combination!

The reason why I came here is the signature noodles of Kim’s Noodle with ‘Cheongdon Yuk-myeon’ spinach and special garlic sauce. Another famous menu is ‘Lemon Mayo Shrimp’ on the side menu, but I ordered ‘Chicken Skin Gyoza’ instead because I heard it was possible to order after reservation.

I don’t like spinach, but I have to eat the signature dish. I was a bit worried, but it was really tasty. Next time, I’d like to introduce this to my friends and visit here again! I’ll make a reservation and eat lemon mayo shrimp. If you want to try a unique signature menu and like noodles! I recommend you visit Kim’s Noodle here. 🙂
