아이와 함께 떠나보는 여행을 즐기는 비로소여행의 리타에요. 오늘 소개해드릴 곳은 안면도 수목원입니다.
안면도가 원래는 섬이 아니었다는 사실 아세요? 이름이 섬처럼 되어 있고 실제로도 우리나라 6번째로 큰 섬이라고 소개가 되고 있지만 원래는 반도였던 것을 조선시대 쌀을 나르는 뱃길을 내기 위해 잘랐다고 하네요. 그러던 것을 다시 육로를 연결해서 지금은 차로도 손쉽게 가볼 수 있는 곳이 안면도랍니다.
아마도 안면도에 여행을 계획하신다면 백사장항이나 영목항같은 항구나 꽃지, 삼봉 해수욕장 같은 모래사장이 펼쳐진 바닷가를 선호하시겠지만 오늘은 특히 자연 향기 온몸으로 누릴수 있는 자연휴양림을 소개해드리고 싶어요.
리타도 늘 바닷가 들렀다가 집에 돌아가는 길목에서 보고는 ‘다음에 와봐야지’하고는 지나쳤던 기억이 있어요. 그런데말입니다. 한번 다녀오고 나니 이 곳은 꼭 한번 들러보시기를 추천드리고 싶어요. 특히 가족과 함께 여행을 가셨다면 슬렁슬렁 산책하며 만나는 꽃이며, 연못이며, 대나무며, 산정상의 정자에서 바라보는 바닷가 풍경이며 모두모두 멋진 추억이 될 것을 보장하니까요.
산림욕장을 따라 걷다보면 새소리 풀벌레 소리에 자연스럽게 말 소리를 줄이게 되어요. 아이와 손을 맞잡고 말하지 않아도 아는 사랑하는 느낌을 온몸으로 느낄 수 있답니다. 괜히 몸도 마음도 힐링되는 기분이 들어서 정말 상쾌해요.
그러다가 펼쳐지는 평지의 자연 테마 정원의 요목조목 꽃들과 관엽초들은 이름표를 찾아가며 마음에 드는 식물을 머리에 새기기도 하고 배경 삼아 열심히 사진을 찍게도 만들기에 참으로 분주하답니다.
적당한 구릉이 있어서 오르락 내리락 걷는 맛도 있고 마치 분지마냥 산등성이로 둘러있어서 주변 산책로로 오르는 맛도 있어요. 아이와 신나게 뛰어 다니다가 그늘 찾아 산책로로 올라서면 상쾌한 피톤치드가 숨이 벅차던 것을 진정시켜주는 기분이랍니다.
특히 아이가 좋아한 곳은 연못과 연못 속 잉어를 보는 것이었어요. 여유롭게 헤엄치는 잉어가 움직이는 궤적을 따라 아무 생각 없이 시간을 함께 보낼 수 있다는 것이 행복이 아닐까 하는 생각도 스쳤습니다.
하늘 구름도 넘실넘실 흐르고 비치는 연못도 잔잔하니 정자에 누워 낮잠이라도 한잠 자고 싶은 기분이었어요.
안면도로 들어서는 설레임에 자칫 그냥 지나칠 지도 모르는 안면도 자연휴양림, 그리고 그곳을 향하는 길에 나도 모르게 차를 세우게 된 가로수길까지, 이번 주말 가족 여행은 ‘성공적’이었다고 자부하고 싶어요.
안면도 자연휴양림은 주차시설도 잘 되어 있으니 잠깐이라도 짬을 내어 보시면 좋겠습니다. (경차 1500원, 중/소형 3000원, 대형 5000원 주차비를 받고 있어요.)
자연휴양림 입장료는 어른 1000원, 중고생800원이라빈다. 국내 최고라고 자부하는 소나무 천연림 그것도 100년 넘은 소나무들을 만나는 비용치고는 너무 저렴하다고 생각했어요.
